The Team the Life Church leadership team
Executive Directors
Jay Snow
Executive Director of Creative Communication
Jay was born and raised in Germantown, Wisconsin and grew up going to Parklawn Assembly of God church. Although Jay was raised in a Christian home his entire life, he never fully had a lasting relationship with Jesus. Much of Jay’s early twenties consisted of playing in various rock bands and the “night life” that goes with that lifestyle. Even though he knew the Lord had called him into ministry at the age of 13, Jay ran from his calling. Years of drug and alcohol abuse finally caught up with him. Feeling lonely and depressed, in December of 1999, Jay gave his heart to the Lord and never looked back. Today, Jay leads the Creative Communication department at Life Church. He oversees all of the video, music, graphics, web, print, and advertising of Life Church, as well as adding creative elements in the adult weekend services.
Ryan Coggins
Executive Director of Family Focus
Ryan grew up in St. Cloud, MN until he and his family moved to Appleton, Wisconsin at the age of twelve. It was in high school that Ryan met his beautiful bride-to-be, Amanda, and also felt a strong calling to youth ministry. He has been on a journey to fulfill that calling ever since. Upon attending North Central University in Minneapolis, Ryan got involved with a church in River Falls, Wisconsin and really became passionate to reach students for Christ. Ryan graduated college in May of 2006 and got married to Amanda one month later. They lived in River Falls for over a year before accepting a position at Life Church in August of 2007. Shortly after arriving in Germantown, Wisconsin they found out that they would be participating in the growth of the church by having a baby! At Life Church, Ryan oversees Driven Student Ministries, which encompasses all students in 6th – 12th grade.
Eva Lepa
Executive Director of Community
Eva leads Life Church’s worship, as well as overseeing all the small groups and volunteer opportunities. Ever since she was a young girl, Eva has had a passion for singing and music. As she got older, this passion grew. After high school, Eva decided to attend Southwestern Assemblies of God University and earn a degree in music. Upon graduating in 2002, Eva began her ministry career interning for a worship pastor at a church in New Mexico. A three-month internship turned into a full-time position as the worship director and discipleship leader for the church’s Masters Commission. Eva’s drive and passion to see people worshipping Christ in spirit and truth led her to Life Church, where she has been serving since June 2006. Her commitment is to lead people in authentic worship, to get people connected through small groups, and to find a place for everyone to use the gifts and talents God has given them.
Directors
Jim Sukup
Community Pastor
Jim was born and grew up in Milwaukee. Music was an important part of his family, and his natural ability carried him throughout school, including his admission to the University of Wisconsin. While in college, Jim became a Christian. This changed everything. Music had been the driving force in his life, but now he was driven by God. For some years, Jim worked as a police officer in the city of Milwaukee. During this time he felt a calling to full time ministry. With his wife beside him, he moved to Taiwan where God opened doors to work with a ministry called Overseas Radio and Television. On returning to the states, Jim served as a staff Pastor for ten years at a local church. In 2002, Jim was offered an opportunity to work with a church plant in Germantown, Wisconsin. This was the beginning of Life Church. At Life Church Jim is able to use his interpersonal gifts in the area of assimilation, visitation, teaching and counseling.
Angela Nicholas
Director of Outreach
Angela and her husband Jeremiah grew up serving the Lord, and were married in the fall of 2006. Before serving at Life Church, Angela was employed with her family’s business as the Operations and Accounts Manager. After completing an Entertainment Internship with Walt Disney World Florida, she attained her Bachelor of Arts Degree in Music Performance from Wisconsin Lutheran College, Milwaukee in 2005. Angela has an extensive background in stage performance and Fine Arts, which God has used through leading worship, traveling music ministry, choreographing and directing programs and shows, as well as private lessons, wedding/event coordination and pageants. Throughout her life, Angela has been actively involved in various church ministries including personal evangelism through VBS, Backyard Bible Clubs, childcare, worship, discipleship, outreach events and church administration. She is thankful to God and His faithfulness for providing a diverse life-experience background which has prepared her to lead the Outreach Ministry at Life Church and serve the Germantown Community.
Brooke Chapman
Director of Missions
Brooke was born in Park Falls, Wisconsin to two wonderful parents who were pastoring a local church. Some of her best memories are from her childhood at Spencer Lake in the summer, hanging out with family, getting in “minor” trouble, working at the Bible Camp, and enjoying the lake. Brooke graduated from Waupaca High School in 2001 and was struggling with what direction to go next. She decided to pursue a degree in Interior Design and move to Chicago. But a few months before she was supposed to leave, she changed her mind and decided to follow the plan that God had for her. After attending North Central University, she moved back to Milwaukee to attend City College Milwaukee and work at City on a Hill. Brooke finally graduated from North Central University in 2007 and is enjoying where God has planted her.
